PROF. AUGUSTO BALLONI holds degrees in Medicine, Surgery, in Clinic of Nervous & Mental Illness and in Legal Medicine & Assurance. He is teaching Criminology since the Academic year 1970-71 at the University of Bologna (Italy). He is Director of the Deviating and Criminal Behavior Study Centre (Ce.Sco.De.C.) of the Department of Sociology of the University of Bologna. He is the Director of C.I.R.Vi.S. (Interdepart. Center for Research on Victimology & Security). He is the author of about 100 publications.
